Interested teachers, dance schools and dance companies please contact us via email noting there is a limit of one display performance per supporting business with limited space available and preference is given understandably to those who have not had a spot in prior years (Note there is no set entry fee for a teacher taught display but our fundraiser would be grateful for a representative studio donation eg. can you host a "wear blue" day at your dance school? Even if you can't come along to the event, we'd love to have you involved!)
It is wonderful to see many studio teachers in our audience too just being supportive of our FUNDRAISER and enjoying their students’ own creative performances! Some groups enjoy catching up and sharing holiday houses for a fun dance getaway, prior to re-starting classes for the new year.
Performance entries &/or display requests can be made with payment/donation via trybooking CLICK HERE.
We are an all inclusive fundraiser, we welcome all students of all dance schools, primary and secondary schools and other dance learning environments to be involved at any level.
If you miss an early entry, just come along! Improvisation sections, finale fun and the workshop can be entered on the day.
WAIT LIST spots are available in all sections, though please bear in mind do not usually become available in the Blue Challenge section. You are welcome to call us close to the event time though and find out if there are any cancellations, 0409232981.

Could you be our next ambassador? Each year we select two ambassadors for our next event, our Dance Ambassador from Blue Challenge (random draw) and our Photographic Ambassador is selected from all professional photos purchased. Our ambassadors represent our event throughout the year and it's a fab role not reliant on how high you can jump but a chance to help us promote dancing for mental health in lots of opportunities!
Enter our “dance-art” drawing / colouring presentation and your artwork could be featured in our program and displayed at the event on the day. Bring your entries into the event and hand them in at front desk, winner announced after lunch break.
Do you have other ideas for our event or want to be involved? Please get in contact with us, especially if you live interstate as we are looking for volunteers to go national in 2020 in other states :)
A day trip to enjoy Phillip Island is beautiful! Phillip Island is about an hour’s drive from SE Melbourne and whilst you’re not dancing, there are plenty of lovely little shops, cafes and art galleries within walking distance of the event, so you will be close enough for an easy lunch or dinner and perhaps even a visit to the little penguins or just enjoy a leisurely family walk on the pier afterwards.
Stay overnight with your dance team or getaway for a family weekend as this event is at the end of the school holidays and if you haven’t been away already, you might like to book a longer visit to enjoy in varied accommodation from cute beach-side apartments to magnificent foreshore houses, camping and caravan parks are all here and taking a break is also good for mental health!
